Thank you for celebrating with Paiges and The Book Jewel team on Independent Bookstore Day this past weekend. We loved seeing some familiar faces, folks we haven't seen in a while, and many new friends for Paiges to meet!
Thera, our multitalented costume-making, novelist, and bookseller at The Book Jewel also happens to bake incredibly intricate cakes. See for yourself the cake she made for IBD 2022, with a Paiges made from Rice Krispie treats & fondant!
Also we'd like to give a special thanks to Benson Shum for coming out to The Book Jewel and sharing his heartwarming stories with the little ones in our community. Everyone loved getting their books signed and meeting this talented illustrator, animator, and children's book author.
